Make A Wish Alabama Gala
What a special evening! This was my first time getting to participate at the Make A Wish Gala but I am not new to the program. I have photographed a few events where wishes were being granted. And what an amazing organization! They are making dreams come true but sweet kids that have been handed a very big challenge. The night ended with the Real Town Band marching through the crowd showing off their brand new uniforms. These uniforms were gifted by a sweet girl named Melody. Her wish was for her high school band to have new uniforms. She played the saxophone with the band before she found out she was sick and she said they are old and stinky. This selfless young lady wanted to leave a legacy and she definitely did. Sadly Melody is no longer with us but her memory will forever be marked on the collars on the band uniforms. It is a big reminder that no matter how small or big/ young or old we all can leave a huge impact on the world
