A Glimpse into my crazy life...

I want to start by saying Happy New Year! Hear is to another fresh start, new beginnings, and resolutions. Ok so I am the worst at resolutions so this year I just have a bunch of "I am going to try harder's." One thing I really want to do is give you a little glimpse into my life and my world which is my family! Family is so important no matter the distance, the age difference, or how busy you are. They should always be your #1. Luckily, I am surrounded by such an amazing family who continues to support me no matter how crazy I may seem. I can't wait for you all to get to know a little more about me than just the crazy lady behind the camera.

So in December we had a lot of first and also a few birthdays and a very brave moment. To start it was early December and Grayson (my son) was nervous and really not wanting to play in the Christmas Piano Recital. He has always been very scared of getting on stage but this year with the support of Mrs. Jessica at 5678 Dance and More he conquered a huge fear. He was amazing and as he finished and walked off the stage, I cried! I mean I really cried. It made me so proud to watch him conquer such a big fear and walk off so proud of himself. It was amazing and he loves it now.

Next came Jillian's (my daughter) 6th birthday. We had a fun canvas paint party at my photography studio. She is a very lucky girl to be surrounded by so many friends from church, school and so many other places. They were lots of giggles, goofing out, and playing! I love watching the years go and I am so proud of the little girl she is growing to be. But on the other hand it makes me so sad to see yet another year pass so quickly.

School Christmas parties were another fun December event as I had to be in 2 places at once. I enjoyed spending 1/2 my time at Jillian's party and the other 1/2 at Grayson's. I know my years are numbered for these precious memories. I enjoy taking in every one of them.

Then came the main event...Christmas. As all families, we go to church on Christmas Eve, then Chili's for dinner and then back home to open 1 gift (which is always pj's). The next morning my sweet kids had fun seeing what Santa brought them and what other fun gifts they received. This year the big exciting gifts were a trampoline from Papaw, motorized scooter, bitty baby twins, baby doll stuff and the extra xbox remote from Nana. They are still not tired of anything and play with it all daily.

We finished the year off by traveling to Iuka, MS to see my great aunt and some more family. They live on acres of land with trails and an awesome tree swing so the kids were in heaven outside while I get to have some precious time inside with my great aunt. I am so very thankful for precious days like this.
